Job description

Job Description: responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components according to engineering specifications and customer requirements. You will work with a variety of metal materials and tools to produce high-quality products that meet our company’s standards for accuracy and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools, power tools, and machines (e.g., press brakes, shears, rollers)
  • Assemble and join metal parts using welding, riveting, or fastening techniques
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
  • Operate CNC machinery and assist with program setup if required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of tools and machines
  • Document production activities and maintain records as required

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
  • Proficient in using hand tools, measuring instruments, and metalworking machines
  • Basic welding skills (MIG/TIG) are an advantage
  • Shipping and Receiving experience is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Good physical stamina – ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing floor with exposure to noise, dust, and sharp materials
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent use of machinery and heavy tools
  • Overtime or weekend work may be required during peak production times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
